Volunteer with Creativity Works.

Creativity Works is our creative sector based employability training programme and is featured in the Mayor of London’s Culture Strategy. Young Londoners who are NEET (not in education, employment or training) sign up for a 10-week intensive training course that teaches technical skills for different areas of the creative industry; teaches employability skills; engages participants with industry mentors and facilitates work placements. Participants are then offered ongoing support with finding job opportunities and support with their job applications and we aim to support 80% of the young people into positive outcomes.

Creativity Work Plus was therefore developed to support those young people who have completed the core programme (alumni) and are looking for further support  into freelancing roles.  As part of this, alumni are offered access to “Freelance Academy” taught events; “Take Note” industry speaker and networking opportunities; and “Meet a Mentor” industry sessions; and “Eat & Meet” corporate volunteer mentor sessions.

As Creativity Works is supported by Berkeley Foundation and Citi Foundation, we welcome staff from both organisations to volunteer with the programme and support the young people involved through these “Eat & Meet” mentoring events.

Below is an outline of upcoming events. If you are interested in taking part in any of the opportunities listed, contact your local volunteer coordinator for more details by clicking on one of the buttons below.

Before you take part in any volunteering activity with the programme, please take the time to read this Volunteering Outline and these Safeguarding Guidelines.
