Laura Moreno Vela

YOUTH PARTICIPATION OFFICER (INTERNSHIP)

Laura joined Mayors Fund for London in January 2022. Laura is a recent graduate in MSc Migration, Mobility and Development with a focus on forced displacement, gender, and Western Europe. Laura has extensive volunteer experience having provided school support for children and young adults. Currently, she volunteers at Hackney Migrant Centre. She was also the Treasurer of the biggest student association of any Faculty of Arts in the Netherlands where she worked to represent the interests of students and to offer them complimentary services and opportunities to achieve a better and more rounded education.
