Making her Mark, 2015’s Low Carbon Entrepreneur At the start of the year, Solveiga Pakstaite, founder of Bump Mark, was named 2015’s Low Carbon Entrepreneur.  We caught up with her to get her views of the competition and find out what’s she’s up to now… Last year, I heard about the Mayor of London’s Low Carbon

Blog 7: Losing marbles on a marble floor

It wasn’t exactly marbles, but we did have fun watching 24 Count on Us Maths Club pupils wipe the floor with Lloyd’s of London underwriters and brokers on Wednesday. St George’s Cathedral Catholic School were the victors, with Deputy Mayor for Culture and Education, Munira Mirza, the first to congratulate them. Budding mathematicians and codebreakers from 13 schools created

Back to school for young Londoners and a brilliant week at the Mayor’s Fund for London. We celebrated Women’s Sports Week with our female Be the Best You Can Be! London ambassadors and partners Taylor Wimpey, we hosted the annual Magic Breakfast Event to review our wonderful Breakfast Clubs and we filled a room full of

Mayor’s Fund Blog No.1

Another bank holiday behind us and there is a feeling of focus among the Mayor’s Fund for London team. It’s always a bit quieter during half-term, but this is very much a case of calm before a very exciting storm. This June, we can look forward to three events in nine days between 9th
