Our Future
With 1 in 5 children leaving primary school with literacy skills below the expected standard, our focus going forward is on improving the foundation of the employable skills in disadvantaged children. The ultimate aim is to give children the key employable skills they need to get a decent job when the time comes.
We have undertaken a lot of work looking at the key early years and how we can make an impact there. We will continue to deliver projects consistent with our four principles of partnership, connectivity, evidence-based work and high quality implementation.
Our Projects
Magic Breakfast delivers free, healthy breakfast to primary schools with more than 50% free school meals. Hunger is a barrier to eduction and giving these children a good start to their day is critical to ensuring they reach their full potential at school.
