City Pitch

Supported by

City Pitch empowers young Londoners to step up as leaders and make a difference in their community. The experience provides pupils with the opportunity to plan and launch a social action project, whilst helping them to develop their leadership, project management and communication skills.

City Pitch projects are created and led by young people, with support from teachers and our expert team of facilitators. All schools selected to participate will receive funding for their chosen project, varying from £500 up to £1500 for finalist schools.

In 2017/18, 36 primary and secondary schools from across London will be selected to take part in City Pitch. The programme begins with a Leadership Day in school for 60 pupils and culminates with the final pitch event at City Hall for 6 finalist schools. If you’d like to take part, please register your interest at the link above.

It’s been fantastic. It’s given the children a lot of confidence and belief that it doesn’t matter what age you are, you can make a difference. It also puts social action high on their agenda as they grow up.
